At Enjoy Life Foods, we work every day to make great tasting food. We put a “free from” label on every package so you know what ingredients we don’t use, but would normally be found in that product. For example, you can count on our delicious chocolate chip cookies to be free from wheat and other cereals containing gluten, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, egg, and sesame seeds.

Across all the products we make, we stay away from ingredients that contain many common food allergens: wheat and other cereals containing gluten, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, fish, shell fish, crustaceans, sesame seeds, mustard, and soy.

But forfeiting some ingredients doesn’t mean we forfeit the taste or texture you crave! In addition to rice products, we use flavour-rich grain alternatives such as quinoa, amaranth, buckwheat and millet. Instead of eggs, we use baking powder in our cookies and a combination of baking soda and flax seed in our chewy bars. We also bake with rosemary extract to lock-in freshness and extend shelf life.

To us, being allergen-friendly doesn’t mean giving up our favourite foods. It just means we put a little extra thought and love into creating them.
